Who We Are
Unhoused persons are 514 times more likely to be arrested and charged with crimes when compared to the non-homeless population, and those who are released from confinement have an average recidivism rate of 68% within three years. - Federation Of American Scientists 2023
Our Mission
Freedom 4 Life Foundation empowers individuals to become confident and hopeful again. We assist with the transition from rehabilitation to a safe living space. We encourage, through guidance and mentorship, stability and independence by assisting with identification barriers, employment, and ongoing support. We offer a second chance to those who are experiencing hardships in life.
Itβs hard to imagine building a successful life without a place to call home, but this basic necessity is often out of reach for formerly incarcerated people. Barriers to employment combined with explicit discrimination, have created a little-discussed housing crisis.
